B.C. legislature opens Monday

The B.C. legislature is back up and running beginning Monday in Victoria.

The next several weeks is expected to be dominated by the introduction of the government’s long-awaited tax structure for its proposed multi-billion liquified natural gas industry.

The two key pieces of legislation relating to its LNG plans come at a critical time for B.C.’s LNG plans.

Premier Christy Clark is going to be in India on a trade mission October 9-18.
