2014 Kootenay Music Awards salutes best in local music

The 2014 Kootenay Music Awards once again celebrated the best in local music Friday at the Hume Hotel Spirit Bar.

Topping the night was Tofu Stravinsky winning the prestigious Artist of the Year award.

Other highlights included Lyndi Lush featuring Vs. winning song of the year; Best Album Lisa Nicole – It Got Ugly; Best new artist, Dirt Floor; Savage Blade winning Best Live Act and Best Rock, Punk or Metal Act; and Lisa Nicole taking home Best Roots Country or Folk.
