The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is rescinding the Water Quality Advisory for the South Slocan water system.

Sample results over the last several weeks show that the current water quality is good.

The Regional District issued this advisory March 11 as the water quality was considered fair due to a seasonal increase in turbidity.

The Regional District would like to thank residents for their cooperation and patience while this Water Quality Advisory was in place.

Any questions, please contact our water department at 250-352-8171 or check out the RDCK website.
