Penticton RCMP search for robbery suspect

Penticton RCMP is asking for public assistance to find the person involved in a robbery at gunpoint Tuesday at the Chevron Town Pantry.

Police said the robbery happened at approximately 9:27 p.m. at the 1450 Main Street location when a lone male suspect entered the store armed with what apeared to be a handgun.

A small quantity of cash was taken from the clerk.

The suspect is described as caucasian male of medium build, approx. 5′ 8″ to 5′ 10″, wearing a faded or light red jacket over grey hoody, hood pulled over head, baggy black track pants with thin vertical red stripe, heavy black/brown boots.

A Skull bandana was over his face. The male was seen to flee on foot.
