Kamloops RCMP Targeted Enforcement Unit, assisted by the Southeast District Emergency Response team, executed a search warrant at 417 Linden Avenue after receiving many calls of alleged drug activity, violence, and suspicious activity.

The warrant was executed at approximately 8:30 pm on Tuesday (February 25) to the address that has generated more than 360 calls to police since 2011.

Six occupants were removed from the residence, including the homeowner, and detained during the search, which was initiated to recover a firearm.

The search came up negative for the firearm, but some drug paraphernalia was located by investigators.

This address will remain a priority for Kamloops RCMP to attempt to curb the criminal activity associated to the home.
