RCMP offer $5,000 for information leading to arrest of Adam Bird
New Year’s Day marked the one year anniversary of the murder of Lloyd Sarson in Red Deer, Alta.
Adam Bird (aka: “Gwap”) was charged with first-degree murder and a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued on Jan. 8, 2013.
Red Deer RCMP has partnered with other police agencies in Canada in an effort to locate and apprehend Adam Bird.
To date, Bird remains at large. RCMP is now offering $5,000 for information which leads to the arrest of Adam Bird in relation to the murder of Lloyd Sarson.
Adam Bird is believed to be associated with an organized crime group with ties in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and British Columbia.
Because Adam Bird was 17 years old at the time of the homicide of Lloyd
Sarson, a Sec 110(4) YCJA Order authorizing the publication of the name
of a young person was obtained on Jan. 9, 2013.
On Jan. 3, 2014 another Order under Section 110(4) of the YCJA was issued granting the RCMP the nability to release Adam Bird’s name and photograph for a five day period.
The order will expire at the end of the day Tuesday Jan 7, 2014.
