Eagle force Alaska Airlines flight to return to Kelowna Airport
An Alaska Airlines flight that left Kelowna for Seattle was forced to return to YLW after an encounter with an eagle Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened shortly after takeoff according to Kelowna Airport Communications.
The pilot turned around as a precaution.
The passengers and luggage were all offloaded.
Alaska Airlines did send a second plane to Kelowna to get the passengers to Seattle.
