Conservation officials shoot coyote near Summerland believed to be involved in attack of woman and dog
A Conservation officer shot a coyote that is believed to be involved in the attack of a woman and a dog last week on Centennial Trail in Summerlan.
The woman was out on a walk with a friend’s small Labrador Retriever Wednesday (December 11) when she was approached by three coyotes.
The woman tried to fend off the coyotes after the animals went after the dog.
During the altercation, the coyotes bit and scratched the hand she was using to swat them away.
Conservation officials shot shot and killed the coyotoes believed to be involved in the attack early Friday morning.
