Calling all artists — the Nelson Sports Council has an opportunity for you

The Hall Street corner of the Civic Centre building, as been an eyesore, well, for more than a few years.
Now, the Nelson Sports Council along with Rotary Daybreak wants to do something about it.
The local organization is rolling out the red carpet for an artists to paint a rather large-sized sports-theme mural to put some pizzazz on the building.
The sports council will accept Expressions of Interest from artists interested in undertaking the project until the end of January.
Successful applicants will be shortlisted and asked to provide a conceptual sketch and cost details.
