Okanagan winery has prize win stolen
A winery in the Okanagan Valley got lifted for $30-grand of prized product during a weekend heist in Peachland.
Thieves broke into Hainle Vineyards Estate Winery Sunday morning, stealing 17 bottles from the winery’s cellar.
The missing bottles included ice wines from 1983 and 1984, which can cost as much as $10,000 a bottle.
The heist occurred two days after a local TV program featured some of his high-end ice wines.
