Kamloops RCMP is investigating a home invasion that didn’t occur.

Sunday morning police received a call about a home invasion but when officers arrived at the allegedly home, nothing apparently happened.

The call came in at 8:46 a.m. PT that three masked men armed with shotguns, entered a home in the 1500 block of Collingwood Drive.

Police used a loudspeaker to contact the occupants of the single-family rental and get them to exit the home.

When officers entered, with police dogs, they found two men and two women, unharmed.

The four tenants denied that there had been any disturbance.

Kamloops RCMP said the residence and the person who made the call are known to police.
