Two Albertans arrested in Penticton
Two Albertans have been arrested after officers located and recovered a stolen Dodge Dakota pickup truck that had been reported as stolen from Okanagan Falls Monday.
The Penticton RCMP Drug Task Force officers made two arrests in a parking lot in the 2100 block of Main street.
a 33 year old male and a 32 year old female, both recent residents of Calgary, Alberta.
During the arrests of the 33-year-old male suspect the officers also seized various quantities of Crystal Methamphetamine, Ketamine, Oxycontin (Oxycondone), drug trafficking paraphernalia, an imitation handgun and a .22 calibre handgun.
Kid Ashley Tye Broadhead faces charges for:
-Possession of Oxycodone for the purpose of Trafficking.
-Possession of Ketamine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
-Possession of Methamphetamine.
-Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000.
-Illegal Possession of a Firearm.
-Possession of a handgun and ammunition while prohibited from doing so.
The 32-year-old female was later released with no charges.
Both are residents of Calgary.
Broadhead has been remanded into custody for the time being.
