Local director Mike Parenteau creates a masterpiece

Mike Parenteau has moved on from his unicycle days to something — which is really hard to believe if you’ve ever seen the Nelsonite on a unicycle — even more spectacular than riding on one wheel.
The L.V. Rogers grad has joined the director’s guild and his latest creation exemplifies what every person from the Valley of the Lost Souls knows, we live in a very special part of the world.
Parenteau has taken moving pictures and turned them into a special film celebrating Nelson Kootenay Lake’s four seasons with a focus on the region’s spectacular scenery and landscapes.
