Terrace RCMP identify homicide victim

RCMP and North District Major Crimes Unit have confirmed the identity of the male victim of the Spark St area homicide in Terrace as Nathan Ward.
Ward was 29 years old and was a tenant residing at the address where he was found deceased last Tuesday July 23 when he was discovered outside of his Spark Street apartment around 1:20 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing, with no further details being released at this time with respect to the cause of Ward’s death. Members of the Forensic Identification Unit were on scene for several days and have completed a thorough examination of the scene.
RCMP investigators have notified Ward’s family and are continuing to provide support to them. They have asked that we release a photo of Nathan in efforts to possibly assist the investigation, said Cpl Dan Moskaluk
