Driver killed in roll over near Terrace
On June 15th, 2013 at approximately 2 a.m. Nass Valley RCMP members responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 113 at the north end of Lava Lake, approximately 80 kilometers north of Terrace.
Two males and a female were traveling north on Highway 113 when their vehicle, a Pontiac Sunbird, left the road and rolled over.
The 28-year-old male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. Both passengers were transported to Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace. Due to the seriousness of injuries the female passenger was flown via air ambulance to Vancouver.
West Pacific Region Traffic Services along with the Integrated Collision Analyst and Reconstruction Services continue to investigate the cause of the collision. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this case.
