Cyclist killed west of Kamloops identified

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident west of Kamloops on (Thursday) June 13 as Richard David Dean McGillivray, aged 57, of Kamloops.
McGillivray was riding his bicycle eastbound on Highway 1 about 22 km west of Kamloops shortly before 6 p.m. on June 13 when he was in a collision with a commercial panel truck travelling in the same direction.
He was deceased at the scene.
The Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
