Postmedia Network Canada Corp., owner of newspapers including the Vancouver Sun and Province and National Post announced it will longer have publishers at all its newspapers.

The change is to mainly reduce costs by streamlining the overall operation.

Postmedia has been cutting costs across its operations as part of a three-year program to transform its money-losing business.

Earlier this month,  Postmedia reported a $14.2-million loss in the second quarter.
