Another earthquake off BC coast
There has been another earthquake off the north B.C. coast.
The quake had a magnitude of 4.6 and struck about 75 kilometres south of Sandspit on the Haida Gwaii islands.
The West Coast-Alaska Tsunami Warning Centre in Palmer, Alaska, said there is no tsunami danger from the quake.
In February two other quakes occurred in the same region.
A 7.7 earthquake rocked Haida Gwaii in October, the strongest recorded in Canada since an 8.1 shaker hit the same area in 1949.
None of the recent tremors has caused any damage.
