Environment Canada continued its snowfall warning for the Boundary/West Kootenay until Thursday morning as amounts of 10 to 20 centimeters is expected.

Environment Canada said a Pacific frontal system over the province is responsible for snow accumulations in the British Columbia Interior Wednesday night.

Snowfall accumulations of 15 to 25 centimeters was reported in parts of the Columbias and Kootenays, with further amounts of 10 to 20 centimeters expected overnight.

The snow is expected to taper to flurries overnight as the front tracks eastward into Alberta.

Anyone traveling the highways in the southern interior should check out the Drive BC website for the latest road conditions at http://www.drivebc.ca/
