Man hit by train in Kamloops identified
The BC Coroners Service, with assistance from Kamloops RCMP, has confirmed the identity of the man killed after being hit by a CP Rail train in Kamloops as Christopher Scott Hobbs.
Hobbs,, aged 25 years, died as a result of a rail incident in Kamloops on January 3, 2012.
The Kamloops resident was struck by a westbound CP Rail train at the Pat Road level crossing in Kamloops and was confirmed deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service will continue their investigation to determine the nature and circumstances surrounding his death.
Foul play has been ruled out.
