Injured snowmobiler rescued from mountain near Revelstoke

Revelstoke Search and Rescue was called out Saturday afternoon to rescue an injured snowmobiler near the Columbia city.

The report came into to Revelstoke SARS around 2 p.m. from Sale Mountain near the Crazy Creek Resort, half way between Sicamous and Revelstoke.

Revelstoke SARS brought the snowmobiler out of the mountains with help of Selkirk Helicopter.

BC Ambulance transported the person to hospital.

It is not clear if the injury came as a result of an avalanche in the Revelstoke area.
