Police seek assistance in locating missing Kamloops man

The Kamloops RCMP is seeking assistance from the public in locating 22-year-old Devin Marko who was last seen just before 6 a.m. on (Wednesday) May 30th when relatives dropped him off at the Schwartz Bay BC Ferry terminal for his return trip to Kamloops.

As a foot passenger, Marko was planning to purchase a Pacific Coach Bus ticket to take him from the Ferry to the Vancouver Greyhound Terminal.

From there he had told family members he was going to take the bus back to Kamloops. When Marko did not return his family notified police.

Marko’s cell phone has been traced to a cell tower in the 500 block of Richards St. in downtown Vancouver.

Follow up enquiries were conducted by the Vancouver Police Department at hotels, shelters and social service outlets in the area but Marko was not located.

Additional enquiries were conducted with the BC Ferry Service and Pacific Coach Bus lines but no additional information could be established to assist in finding Marko.

Devin Marko is described as a white male, 6″1′, 160lbs, short black hair, brown eyes, clean shaven, with no tattoos. He was last seen wearing black running shoes, blue jeans and a black or blue hoody. He was carrying a book bag style black back pack containing clothing and personal effects.
