Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson's Rick Hansen Relay Runners

The team started at the north side of the Nelson Bridge before ending at the parking lot of the Nelson and District Community Complex where the final relay participant Ed Natyshak took the 25th Anniversary Rick Hansen Relay medal home.
Natyshak, the unanimous selection by the Nelson Sports Council as Nelson’s honourable medal bearer for the 25th Anniversary Relay, was joined the rest of the Heritage City runners for Thursday’s relay.
Staff and management at Mallard’s Source for Sports were quick to also jump on the bandwagon by naming the local contingent Team of the Week.
The Nelson contingent includes (in no specific order) Kevin Westerhaug, Teresa Segstro, Elin Mahon, Jeremy McComb, Bruce Morrison, Lois Morrison, Sheri Morrison, Melinda Foot, Katie Okros, Judy Betts, Norma Lock, Sharie Cates, Mika Taiji, James Hudec, Ryan Woikin, Kristi Wood and Ed Natyshak.
(Not pictured) running Sunday are Keith Williams, Kendall McPherson, Tara Yowek, Katelyn Posnikoff, Lorne Westnedge, Allison Schlosser and Janet Scott-Pryke.
Balfour runners were Sharon Zeeman, Bev Clement, Jimmy Holland, Pearl Velisek, Anne Tellam, Vickie Brown, Charlie Zinkan, Jonathon Devito, Sylvia Hamilton, Joe Hawes and Josh Smienk.
