Glacier gymnasts have been busy of late, attending a pair of meets in Cranbrook and Surrey.
At the Key City Invitational the Glacier squad won a carload of medals, including several of the golden variety.
Brianne Stefani started the walk to the podium with a gold in floor in the Provincial Level 7-8-years.
Lennox Lockhurst won gold on floor, silver on beam and bars and bronze in the Provincial Level 1 8-years all-round while Alexis Dyck won gold in floor, silver on vault, bronze on bars and silver in all-round Provincial Level 1 9-years.
Gwen McCrory took silver on floor in Provincial Level 1 9 years.
In Provincial Level I 11 years, Olivia Kelly took the all-round silver with a gold on floor and vault, silver on bars and bronze on beam. Mimi Lockhurst placed second on the vault.
In Provincial Level 1 12 years, Sara Tolles won the division’s all-round title with a gold medal finishes on vault, bars and floor.
Zoe Crisfield took silver on the beam and bronze on floor.
Maddie Sternloff also won the gold, this time in the Provincial Level 1 13-and-over by taking gold on bars, beam and floor and silver on vault.
Senna Moroney finished third in Provincial Level II 8-9-years with a silver on beam and bronze on floor while Victoria Lawrence-Jeffery took a bronze on the bars in Provincial Level 2, 11-12 years.
Kylee Dyck captured gold in Provincial Level II 13-14 years with a gold on vault and silver on beam.
Bronwyn Sutherland finished with a pair of gold medals on beam and floor.
In Provincial Level II 15-and-over, Chultim O’Neill won the overall gold with a gold medals on vault and bars along with a silver on floor.
Rebecca Benner won the bronze on beam.
In Provincial Level III 11-14, Ella Keelan won the all-round silver with a gold on bars, silver on beam and floor and bronze on vault.
Meanwhile, in Provincial Level III 15-plus Jasmine Schacher took the gold on the floor.
In the High School division, Level 1 Samantha Garbula won the all-round gold with Kano Major second and Myndha Araya-Gray third.
High School Level 2 Katie Poetsch took the silver while Leanne Kalmikoff finished third.
In Surrey at the boy’s meet, Sam Fisher won the gold while River Murphy and Matthew Bullen took home silver medals.
