Police release identity of male victim killed at Dawson Creek concert

Dawson Creek RCMP are releasing the identity of the male victim who died at the Encana Event Center on February 14, after being assaulted by a group of males.
Jason Patrick Foster, 28 years old attended a local concert when he and a friend were assaulted by three males.
The assault continued into the men’s washroom where a civilian intervened and broke up the fight.
Foster was found unconscious and later died from his injuries in hospital.
Jason Patrick Foster had been living in the Fort St. John area but was originally from Manitoba.
Three male suspects have been arrested and have since been released. Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
