Skatepark idea lagging in Aviva voting
The Nelson Skatepark idea is still not receiving enough attention.
The city’s skatepark idea sits in 24th position with only 2,367 votes — first has 8,808 votes. Nelson is averaging of 236 people voting daily.
The Kootenay Lake Outdoor Skatepark Society is in the running as online voting began in early October in the Aviva Community Fund’s million-dollar question contest.
KLOSPS finished in the top 10 in voting last year with their Nelson skatepark project.
Nelsonites can help the society gain the funding for the project by voting for its merits online at the link below. The most votes win the contest.
