Kaslo Lifewriters Group publishes story collection

The newly refurbished Kaslo Library will host a free event Oct. 11 (7 p.m.) to celebrate the launch of Kaslo Lifewriters Group’s first published story collection.
This anthology, In My Life: Stories of Community Connections, includes 26 tales of poetry, song, letters and an interview, covering a century of personal memoirs by residents of Kaslo.
The Lifewriters Group — which has met weekly for several years — has documented many adventures, including experiences of coming to Kaslo and growing up in the area.
They will resume weekly free sessions soon and welcome new participants.
This project was funded by Columbia Basin Trust Community Initiatives and the Kaslo and District Community Forest Society.
