Salmo Falcons honour top athletes for 2011

Rebecca Beaulieu and James Tod were selected the top athletes at the annual Salmo Falcons’ Athletic Award Ceremony held at the end of the recent school year.
Beaulieu, voted the top Senior athlete, topped the female category after helping the Falcons to the Provincial Combined Championship at the High School Ski Meet in Kimberley.
The Falcons finished third in the boy’s team standings and sixth in the girls for a combined top spot.
Tod was selected top Senior Male Athlete.
Other award winners included Darya Huser and Riley Rollick, winning Junior Boys and Junior Girls, respectively.
Both junior winners were also members of the Provincial Ski squad.
Grade 7-8 winners were Melissa Hume as top female and Hendrik Terwood, top male.
Terwood was also on the Provincial Ski squad.
