Working Together for Success: sixth annual CKIPC field tour

It’s that time of year.

You are invited to join members of the Central Kootenay Invasive Plant Committee on another fun day out to learn about local invasive plant species and their management.

This year focuses on collaborative approaches to invasive plant management. Join them to learn more about invasive plant species in the region, including their identification, impacts and control techniques. 

An agenda and carpooling options will be circulated to field tour registrants in early June.

Aquatic invaders to watch for

Biological control

Weeds and agriculture

Collaborative success stories

Invasive knotweed control

Species at risk and invasive plants

Considering invasive plants in
