The Binghamton Senators are one win away from the Calder Cup Final.

The B-Sens scored six times in the final two periods to rout the Charlotte Checkers 7-1 Tuesday in game three of the AHL Eastern Conference Final in Binghamton.

The Ottawa Senators farm team leads the best-of-seven series 3-0 with game four Wednesday in Binghamton.

Zack Smith had four points, including a hat-trick, and netminder Robin Lehner made 37 saves to lead the B-Sens.

Despite being rocked for seven goals Charlotte out shot Binghamton 38-32.

Nelson Minor Hockey grad Geoff Kinrade, playing defence in his second season of professional hockey in the AHL, finished the game a plus-3.
