Columbia Power powers up science celebration
Columbia Power provided $2,000 in support of this year’s Community Science Celebration that took place Saturday, April 2 at Selkirk College Campus in Nelson, presented by the Kootenay Association for Science and Technology (KAST).
This was a free event for the whole family which showcased local and regional businesses involved in the science and tech sectors, Vancouver Science World’s exciting interactive displays, the West Kootenay Regional Science Fair exhibit and the Association of Professional Engineers of BC Popsicle Bridge Building Contest.
“We are so pleased that we could support this event again for our region,” said Audrey Repin, director of Stakeholder Relations for Columbia Power.
