Kids are invited to a special pre-Easter event coming up in the Slocan Valley.

On Sunday, April 17, Slocan Valley Recreation and the Grade 12 grad class from Mt. Sentinel High School will be hosting the Eighth Annual Easter Bunny Hop at the Passmore Lodge.

There’ll be a variety of Easter bunnies leading in games, Easter crafts, a bunny snack and of course, the Easter Egg hunt.

The Mt. Sentinel students will be running all the activities during the afternoon with the help of a senior of two. Kids of all ages are welcome to come join in the fun, so parents bring the young ones and grandparents grab the grandkids, because we want you all there.

The event begins at 1:30 p.m. and the admission for the event is $5 per child with proceeds going to Grade 12 grad class.

The Passmore Lodge is located on the Old Passmore Road which runs parallel to Highway 6. Watch for some colourful signs should you feel lost.

To help event organizers, please let us know you’re coming before April 13. It promises to be a multi-generational afternoon to remember.

Slocan Valley Recreation requests that they be contacted at 226-0008 if you’re planning to attend.
