Horgan to tour Kootenays

BC NDP leadership candidate and Juan de Fuca MLA John Horgan is embarking on a five-stop tour of the Kootnays to discuss his platform and the many issues facing people in the region.
Horgan’s schedule is as follows:
NDP member drop-in event in Castlegar
• Thursday, Feb. 24 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Castlegar Recreational Centre
Lunch at the Bleubelle Bistro and Beanery in Kaslo
• Friday, Feb. 25 from 12-2 p.m.
After-work beer and wings at Mike’s Place Pub in Nelson
• Friday, Feb. 25 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Meet and greet at the Labour Centre in Nelson
• Friday, Feb. 25 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Meet and greet at the Creston and District Chamber of Commerce
• Saturday, Feb. 26 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
