Due to illness, the Drum and Rattle Making workshop has been re-scheduled from Dec. 11 to Jan. 15.

We would appreciate help to prepare the hides on Sunday, Jan. 2 (contact Chris for more info).

The Capote Coat Making workshop is re-scheduled for Jan. 22.

Our Ice Fishing Day using Stone Age fishing gear is re-scheduled for Jan. 23. Let’s show up on the ice wearing our beautiful full-length blanket coats.

Upcoming events
Stories to be Told:

Wednesday, Dec. 8, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at A Balanced Path, 523 Josephine St.

This evening will be a potluck dinner with some traditional stories of how we got here.

How we got here refers to two different stories, one is an oral history about the Four Worlds and one is about the misuse of our gifts and the origin of Dominion and the Domestication of Humanity.

We will also play with the tradition of Share Stories, stories that are passed around the circle and co-created with imagination, humour and the drama inherent in solving “serious” problems.

Please bring a dish to share, plus plates and cutlery.

Medicine Wheeling and Wisdom Keeping:

Wednesday, Dec. 15, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at A Balanced Path, 523 Josephine St.

This will be an evening of exploring the Medicine Wheel as a source of Guidance and Common Sense in the 21st Century.

As well, the Wisdom Keepers tradition will be explored.

We will also have a chance to share our experiences of Medicine Wheeling through the Season of Fall and through our Journey of Arriving in this Life and practicing Right Relationship.
