More folk looking for work in the Kootenay region

There are more people looking for work in the Kootenay region this month as compared to one year ago, according to Statistics Canada.
There were 6,200 people (8.8 per cent of the workforce) looking for work in November, down from October’s 9.4 per cent.
Last year in November 8.4 per cent of the region’s workforce was on the unemployment line.
