Window of opportunity narrows for View Street Media
There are only three days left to contribute to the fundraising campaign for the Nelson Walking Audio Tour.
Thanks to 47 supporters already, Ryan Oakley and View Street media have raised over $5,800 for production of the audio tour — just $1,200 shy of the $7,000 goal.
“If you haven’t contributed yet please consider doing so,” said Oakley on the weekend. “There are some great perks and contributing takes just a few minutes.”
If you have contributed you can still help by spreading the word, he added, by sharing the message on Facebook or Twitter.
Oakley is raising money to hire a team of local talent to make an hour-long audio walking tour of Nelson, with the ultimate goal of offering it for rental out of the city’s museum and art gallery, Touchstones Nelson

View Street Media is already putting the money they’ve raised to good use.
They have hired a “tour guide,” Richard Rowberry, and an audio geek, Zeb Hansell, to begin production of a preview of the tour.
The two have produced a high quality five-minute “sneak preview” of the tour.
