MLA’s annual report hits local mailboxes

Nelson-Creston MLA Michelle Mungall’s first annual report to constituents hits community mailboxes this week.
The pamphlet is the first of two parts, featuring photos and highlights from Mungall’s work over the last year.
Part two is something a little different as far as communication tools go. A Year in Review is a four-minute video of Mungall in action.
“After years of working for non-profits it’s become habit to prepare an annual report,” said Mungall, “I thought it would be really poignant to visually show people what I do as their MLA.”
The video can be viewed on Mungall’s website or Youtube channel and is available on DVD by contacting her office, at 1-877-388-4498.
Mungall will be open for discussion of her annual report later in the month at a coffee talk event in Nelson. Residents of the Nelson-Creston constituency are invited to share their thoughts at the public event being held at Oso Negro café on Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m.
