Strom, Carl Arvid

It is with sadness that our Father Carl Arvid Strom, a lifetime resident of Nelson BC, passed away February 6th, 2020.
Dad loved fishing, camping and gardening, if you needed a hand with anything, he was always there to help. He is survived by his wife Lorraine Strom, their five children Dwain (Diane) Strom of Castlegar, Brenda (Cyril) Chernoff of Nelson BC, Darrell (Coreen) Strom of Long beach, Melvin (Nancy) Strom of Spokane Washington and Alanna (Jack) Kazakoff of Nobleford Alberta, two sisters and one brother.
Dad loved to be around all of his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carl was predeceased by his son Kenneth and daughter Karen, brothers Edward, Einer and John and sister Aina, granddaughter Jennifer as well as his parents. Carl worked for the Department of Highways for 28 years.
A funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Nelson on Tuesday February 11, 2020 at 10 a.m. Interment into Nelson Memorial Park Cemetery to follow.
