Nikki Lee Olsson

1964 ~2016

Nikki was born in Quesnel BC, into the loving home of Mabel and Floyd Moore. Growing up in the Kootenays, eventually marrying and settling into Nelson in 1987. Nikki had an infinite love of animals, the outdoors and life in general. She worked in the Nelson area in many capacities, latest with School District 8.

She raised two children, Kim and Kris, and just recently became a grandmother for the first time with Kim’s new arrival Khloe.

She is predeceased by her father and mother, and survived by husband Carl, brother Bill (Chandel), daughter Kim (Tony), son Kris (Ciara), and granddaughter Khloe.

Nikki was taken suddenly after a 5 ½ year battle with cancer. Special Thanks to Dr. Malpass and his fabulous team at KLDH. Your group made a huge difference in the time Nikki enjoyed, your efforts truly made a difference.

She will be sadly missed by all, and admired for her fortitude and strength that she demonstrated during her epic battle with cancer.
