Filbert, Len

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Len Filbert on Feb 14, 2017 after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Len was born in Brightstone Manitoba, but his many travels lead him to Nelson in 1983.

Survived by his loving wife Catherine of 50 years, his children Karen, Carol, Dorothy (Brent) and John and cherished granddaughters Brettiney and Danielle. Also survived by his sisters Connie (Jim) and Linda (Elliot) of Winnpeg, brother-in-law Jim (Bonnie) of Langley and their families.
