DiBella, Frank Joseph

Frank DiBella’s remarkable life came to an end on May 4, 2017. Frank was born on January 2, 1926 in Mascali, Catania, Sicily, the second of three sons to Rosario DiBella and Agatina Bartolotta.

Frank is survived by two sons, Rosario C. (Tino)  Di Bella (Denise, Deceased), and Mario Joseph Di Bella (Lorraine), and five grandchildren: Jacob Peter DiBella (Anna) and great-grandson, Simon Kristensen, Beth Marie Piorecky (Jan) and great-grandson, Sawyer Aaron, Cara Annie Di Bella, Adam Mario Di Bella and Aimee Noelle Di Bella, one brother-in-law, Thomas D’Aquino (Susan) and one sister-in-law Alice Pippi (Emilio, Deceased), 2 nieces (Marianne and Lynn), 1 nephew (Mario) and many cousins.

 It is with great sadness to announce the passing Donna Eveline Jensen on Saturday April 29, 2017 after a hard fought battle with cancer.  Donna was born April 24th, 1949 in Saskatoon, SK to the late Howard and Eveline Shillington. 

The family moved to Islington, ON when Donna was 4 years old.  She met the love of her life Carl, and they were married in Islington June 26th, 1971.  After working for many years in Calgary, Donna and Carl retired to Balfour, BC.

It is with great sadness that the family of Frederick George (Fritz) Koehle announces his passing Wednesday April 26, 2017 at the age of 89.

Born to Fred and Lena Koehle in Regina SK November 21, 1927 (2nd boy of 4).  He grew up in Trail, playing hockey and was the stick boy for the Trail AAA Juniors BC Champions.  Moved to Nelson when he was 15 where Fritz and his three brothers Red, Bob & Gerry curled, played baseball, boxing and of course hockey!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Gunnar Johnson.

Don was born February 15, 1939 in Nelson BC and passed away at his home with his wife by his side after a long battle with prostate cancer. Don was predeceased by his birth parents Gunnar Johnson and Palma Rakitte, foster parents Jim and Hazel Clark, and sister Florence (Doug) Reid.
