Woman taken to KLH following two-vehicle accident near Lakeside Park

A woman was taken to Kootenay Lake Hospital with unspecified injuries following a two-car accident near the entrance to Lakeside Park Thursday afternoon.
The accident involved a large pickup and a mid-size compact car.
Nelson Fire Department crews attended the scene, and needed to extract the woman from vehicle before BC Ambulance attendants loaded the female into an awaiting ambulance for the trip to Kootenay Lake Hospital.
Nelson Police also attended the scene and continue to investigate the accident.
