Players attending the Whitecaps Youth Soccer Camp next week in Nelson will receive an added bonus as Major League Soccer star Kendall Waston is slated to make an appearance during the week long event.

“We are going to blessed with the presence of Club Captain and Costa Rician international Kendal Waston,” said Brett Adams, Associate Academy Head Coach of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Waston has been a pillar of the Whitecaps defence since arriving in 2014.

Waston’s current teammate on the back line of the Whitecaps, Tim Parker also attended the Nelson camp as a guest coach in 2015.
