Shortly after hundreds of vehicles from the 2017 Road Kings Queen City Cruise vacated Baker Street, Sunday morning hundreds of motorcycles lined Nelson’s downtown for the 2017 West Kootenay Toy Run.

Motorcycle riders from throughout the region made the trek from Castlegar to Nelson, Nelson to Salmo, Salmo to the Greater Trail area before heading back to the Sunflower City for festivities, which included the announcing of the winner of the raffled motorcycle.

The money raised will be donated to communities to help food banks, women’s shelters, school scholarship and many other projects.
