UPDATED: NPD report missing Nelson man found in good health

Nelson Police Department Acting Sergeant Corey Hoy said in media release that a missing Nelson man was located Monday morning.

Hoy said at approximately 10:30 a.m. Alexander MacKay, 35, was located and found in good health.

MacKay had not been seen or had contact with his family since departing his residence on (Tuesday) February 3.

NPD would like to take this opportunity to thank the public and media with their assistance in this matter.

Nelson Police ask for public assistance in finding missing man

Nelson Police Department (NPD) is requesting public assistance in locating Alexander MacKay of Nelson.

The 35-year-old Nelson resident has not been seen or had contact with his family since departing his residence on Tuesday (February 3). 

MacKay is described as approximately 5’11 in height, 145 pounds, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and a black baseball cap.
