UPDATED: Midway RCMP locate Matthew Straume

Midway RCMP has just confirmed that Matthew Straume, who was reported missing, has made contact with a family member and is safe.
Straume was last seen around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday August 13 near Greenwood.
The Midway RCMP would like to thank the media and general public for their assistance in trying to locate Matthew.
Midway RCMP asking public lookout for missing Matthew Straume
Midway RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Matthew Straume, who was last seen around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday August 13 near Greenwood.
Straume was planning on taking his ATV from Greenwood to Beaverdell using forest service roads, but did not arrive in Beaverdell and has not been heard from since.
Straume, 39, is described as being approximately 5’8 tall, 170 pounds, stubble on his face, with short, curly brown hair.
The ATV is red, unknown make or model.
