UPDATED: Flames seen coming from roof of Josephine Street fire

Nelson Fire Rescue continues to battle a structure fire in the 600 Block of Josephine Street.
Flames from the fire, starting at approximately 5:30 p.m., have now blown through the roof of the building the houses Divine Alchemy Tattoos, Busaba Thai Cafe and Aldo's Cleaners and Laundry Service.

Nelson Fire Rescue on scene of blaze at 600 Josephine Street
Nelson Fire Rescue have been called to battle the third fire of the week for the departement, happening now in the 600 Block of Josephine Street.
The fire started at approximately 5:30 p.m., and appears to be burning in the building the houses Divine Alchemy Tattoos, Busaba Thai Cafe and Aldo's Cleaners and Laundry Service.
Currently firefighters are on scene of the fire with three units, including the ladder truck, as well as Nelson Police Department officers.
The area has been blocked off to traffic by Nelson Police.
Nelson Fire Rescue dealt with a house fire Tuesday in the 300 Block of Chatham Street as well as call later in the day at Ward Street Place.
