Two vehicle accident slows Friday afternoon traffic in Nelson

Rush hour traffic in Nelson slowed to a crawl Friday afternoon following a two-car, fender-bender in front of the Hume Hotel.
Nelson Police, Nelson Fire Department and BC Ambulance responded to the accident that happened in the mid-afternoon at the corner of Ward and Vernon Streets, thought to be the busiest corner in the Heritage City.
No one was injured in the accident by BC Ambulance attendants took one person to hospital.
Traffic was re-routed around the accident until tow trucks arrived to remove both vehicles.
