Temporary closure for NDCC due to ongoing construction

Nelson and District Community Centre users please take note.
Due to ongoing contruction, the NDCC Fitness Centre and Administration Offices will close at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday (May 8) and re-open at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday (May 10).
“This closure is required because of an adhesive product that is being used in the aquatic centre basin,” said Marty Benson, NDCC Manager of Recreation said in a media release.
“The product will cause temporary, strong and unpleasant odors in the Fitness Centre and Administration offices.”
Benson said the Fitness Centre and Administration offices are expected to be free from odor upon re-opening on Tuesday.
“We apologize for this service interruption and thank you for your understanding and cooperation,” Benson added.
