Soccer Quest hosts camp at Lakeside Pitch

Players from throughout the region have flocked to Nelson to participate in the Soccer Quest Camp at the Lakeside Pitch.
The camp is the first of two in Nelson during the summer. The next camp is set for August 27-31 at the Lakeside Fields.
Soccer Quest coordinator Dave Spendlove said campers will have a full week of fun while improving their skills on the pitch.
“Our philosophy is about you learn better when having fun. Each day we teach a new skill, passing, shooting, heading (age related), receiving the ball & team play,” he said.
Spendlove said the afternoon World Cup program has been copied by most soccer camps around BC and Canada and we still have the world cup trophy to play for.
